Critical thinking relies on understanding a broad range of ideas and concepts about a subject. It's difficult to fully comprehend climate change when you only think of the social perspective. We need to help students see issues from a multi-perspective, polymath viewpoint.
Creativity
Creativity is more than just artistic ability; it's about thinking outside the box and approaching problems with fresh, innovative ideas. School, particularly later, isn't really designed for this. The focus moves to test scores and finite, fixed answers. To build problem solvers, take away the scaffolding and let their minds roam freely. Never tell them something is impossible, unless you're 1000% sure. Even then, it's better to be quiet in the sense that boundless thinking fails high up. Restricted thinking thuds to the ground.
Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurial skills are not just for starting businesses; they are about fostering a proactive mindset, leadership, and resilience. We introduce our students to the basics of entrepreneurship, encouraging them to take initiative, manage projects, and learn from their successes and failures.
