Matter

My nose, your nose, everyone’s nose, in fact everything,

all matter, of course, even your grandmother’s old, diamond ring.

Try to look around at all of the world’s wonders,

Take time, too, to gaze up when it thunders.

Earth and the skies above are just fields of twinkling atoms,

reaching across the stars in numbers no-one fathoms.
