Imagine your birthday party is coming up. You have invited your friends, bought some balloons and made a cake. Now you get the chance to invite 3 people from History to join your party. Who are you going to invite and why?
I think I will invite Sargon for his cup bearing skills ( more orange juice Sargon), Richard the Lionheart can entertain us with his tales of adventure and Theodora as she used to work in the circus and is sure to know some party tricks.
How about you?
I may be generous enough to invite Henry VIII. He could bring us some mouth-watering leftovers from his most recent wedding cake or other tasty dishes his royal chef cooked just for his unbelievable belly. I might bring Cleopatra and Sir Walter Raleigh, too. Raleigh would be a hit with all the ladies, especially smitten Cleopatra. She would love his charisma and his sweeping cloak laid down on the floor for her, and his 'good looks'.(?!!) I can almost hear Caesar grinding his teeth in jealousy......
I think I will invite...
Tariq : I want to ask him why he burnt the boats. Also, he is one of my favourite historical guy
Henry 8th : I want to ask him how and why he killed so many people. (She looked like a horse!!!!!😀)
But would people recognize our party? People like the ancient greeks would have no ldea what is a cake or and candle. But I would invite Geoge Washington to ask how he founded america.
My student Jay will invite John Moses Browning because he will start a nerf war due to his gun making abilities. Also, secondly, he will invite Lucy, the earliest know Homo Sapien, because she would surely know some DIY survival tips, which are always useful. And finally, he will invite Chairman Mao because JM Browning can kill him with his 30-06 machine gun as clearly Jay is not a huge fan of the ex Chinese ruler !
I want to invite Marie Antoinette,Cleopatra and Frida Kahlo
