I think we shouldn't be allowed to use AIs in schoolwork because AIs are mostly wrong and there might be a chance of being hacked. Also, using AIs will decrease your creativity. What do you guys think?( ̄︶ ̄)↗
(I did a debate contest about this and won it last year!)
Congratulations on your debate win, Benjamin! I should correct you though: we don't use the word 'AI' countably in English. Therefore, you can never say 'AIs' or 'artificial intelligences'. 'AI' or 'artificial intelligence' is a thing, a concept and a tool. It is not the same as a device or a robot or a computer, but rather it refers to the type of programming that the device, robot or computer uses. That's why you cannot say 'AIs', just like you cannot say 'programmings'; however, you can/should use it as an adjective instead: AI programs, or AI devices, or AI robots. We also don't say 'the AI' if we refer to it in general. We simply say 'AI' or 'artificial intelligence' (never 'the artificial intelligence'). Sorry for the English teacher stuff. I guess AI could have told you all that. ;)
