I don't have a favorite quote. I'm not interested in quotes very much. However, I have some sentances in book that I like. What's yours?
My favourite quote is from Roald Dahl:
‘And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.’ – Billy and The Minpins
One of the finest questions I've seen here. My quote is from Shakespeare:
- AS YOU LIKE IT, ACT 3 SCENE 2, LINE 254; ORLANDO TO JACQUES
Which is a polite way of saying 'I wish I had never met you!'
This one doubles as quote and a poem:
“Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien
